As you’ve probably noticed by now, we’ve restarted Punchwood. The new versions of Minecraft added Jungles and populated villages and other things that would not have shown up in our last world properly, so we decided to begin afresh!
Part of the fun is when struggling to survive and build right from the outset anyways… right? I have now also (finally) updated the Punchwood Map to show the new world. You can see two villages on the map, one of which I’ve inhabited and have been working on expanding, and the other which Mick is working on (recognizable by being much larger and with many farms). You can also see a new house and farm from another intrepid wood-puncher!
As always, comments are welcome. Happy Mining!
Everything has been updated! We’re finally running a stable build of CraftBukkit again, and I have finally updated the Punchwood Map. Looks like we’ve had some busy folks!
Check out the new changes, and as always, if you have questions or spot problems, let me know.
Craftbukkit has released a new version, and this one seems to load our world ok. We are up and running now on this new version, and things should be back to working normally on Punchwood, with full version 1.0.1 release! If you see any stability problems, please let me know! Happy mining.
The map has been updated again, as of about midnight Saturday night (Sunday morning) the 15th/16th. On this map we see a slightly expanded boundary, including a new NPC village (at X185/Z-460), a new resident (apparently at X-811/Z66), and a new complex by one of our more recent residents (at X-530/Z560).
